The
Samuel Adams Imperial Series consist of three beers that represent some of the biggest and most intense beers they've ever brewed. Two are brand spanking new beers, an Imperial Stout and Imperial White, plus an amped up version of their Double Bock.
You'll be able to find all the stats on each beer on the website within a few days.
Since they quite literally just bottled these Imperial bad boys this very week they likely won't be in stores before the end of February.
Stay tuned!

I like that Sam Adams tries out all sorts of different products. I had some beer brewed by Sam Adams which was the result of a home brewer competition. That's just awesome.
By the way, thanks for linking to my blog. I've returned the favor.
Couldn't agree more, David. That competition you're talking about is called the Longshot competition. I've had all the beers from those comps in the last few years... some are great and some are meh (to be anywho), but the mere fact that they do this to promote the home brewing community is incredible.
Awesome! I'm a huge fan of just about anything Sam Adams, so I always get excited when I hear they are releasing something new. I can't wait to try these out. Thanks for the update.
Have you written about the curvy Sam Adams glasses? I have a couple of these at home, and I hear they keep "walking away" from bars that use them -- such as the Sunset Grill & Tap here near Boston. Mine were duly purchased, though! I'll be looking forward to pouring some Imperial Series into them...
You bet Brewmaster! Ya, we've had several SA brews on our review show "Taste Buds" on Beer tap TV (check 'em out here --> http://beertaptv.com/forums/TasteBuds). Sometimes it feels like we're unabashed homers for them, but they make damn good beer. If you get a chance, try to the Chocolate Bock. GOOD GOD!
Hey Andy... as a matter of fact I have written about Sam's "curvy" glasses - some time ago in fact. Wow, so long ago it took me a while to find it - August of 2007! Here's the link: http://confessionsofabeerkgeek.blogspot.com/2007/08/art-of-reviewing-beer.html
I actually bought 8 of these bad boys... and I love 'em. All that nucleation, and scientific hoodoo that went into them - actually works! ;)
I know this is slightly old news, by I'm really excited to try out all of these new beers from SA!
